The Open & Little Athletics State Championships is a true test of endurance, and UTS Norths athletes delivered a masterclass. Across a gruelling four-day schedule, our squad dug deep to bring home an incredible 21 podium finishes, including 9 Gold, 7 Silver, and 5 Bronze medals! From a spectacular 1-2-3 sweep in the Men's 400m to dominant performances across the track, field, and para-athletics, our athletes proved their resilience. 2026 NSW Junior State Championships Wrap-Up

UTS Norths Athletics Club delivered a strong showing at the 2026 NSW Junior State Championships. Over four days at Sydney Olympic Park, 39 athletes competed to secure 21 podium finishes—7 Gold, 4 Silver, and 10 Bronze—along with 44 Top 8 Finalist placements. The competition was so great that any of these finalists could have finished on the podium as well. The athletes also set three new club records.
