Registration for the 2017-18 Season

Annual membership to UTS Northern Suburbs Athletic Club covers the period 1 October 2017 to 30 September 2018.
The 1 October to 30 September timeframe covers both the Summer and Winter season.
The 1 April to 30 September timeframe covers Winter season only (RunNSW category).

Members of Athletics New South Wales are entitled to a host of benefits depending on their level of membership.

Two Silver medals at the Waratah Series Street Relays on the Central Coast

UTS Norths has picked up 2 silver medals at the Waratah Series Street Relays which was held on 21 July at Ourimbah on the Central Coast.
Congratulations to the Open Women’s team - Elise Gallen, Abbey Rockcliff, Sarah McDermott and Isabella Thornton-Bott who finished with a silver medal behind Sydney University. Our Women’s 55+ team - Deborah Drennan, Jan Swinhoe, Margaret Thomas and Nancy Lloyd, also finished with a silver medal.
Our Men’s Open team - Edward Goddard, Leo Peterson, Kyle Walsh, Charlie Doherty finished 6th with Ed Goddard who ran the 3rd fastest split of the day.
UTS Norths Men’s 45+ team consisting of Brad Sharpe, Paul Trainor, Antony Guest and Trevor Young finishing in a gutsy 5th place with our Men’s 55+ team consisting of Doug Barrett, Terence Carter, Andrew MacDonald and Brad Sharpe also finishing in 5th place. Awesome work off Brad Sharpe to back up for the Men’s 55+ team after competing earlier in the 45+ team.

The passing of Bev Jaye

It is with great sadness that we report the passing of BEV JAYE, long time throws coach at UTS Norths Athletics and official with ANSW who left us on Saturday night after a battle with leukemia. Bev was a fixture at coaching nights and the Saturday Summer series for many years, and will be greatly missed at Rotary field and by all he came in contact with.
His funeral service will be held on Monday 2nd JULY, at 10.15am at the NORTH CHAPEL NORTHERN SUBURBS CREMATORIUM 199 Delhi Rd, North Ryde
