Ron Bendall

Qualifications

• Level 2 Jumps Coach

Ron has over 20 years of coaching experience and is currently an Athletics NSW Junior High Performance Sprints Coach. Throughout his coaching career, Ron has supported athletes across a range of disciplines, helping them achieve success at state, national, and international levels.

Four athletes from Ron’s squad have been selected to represent Australia at the World Junior Championships, with another athlete selected for the Winter Olympics. Ron was recognised as runner-up in the Athletics NSW Sprints and Hurdles Coach of the Year Award for the 2013–14 season and has been named UTS Norths Athletics Club Coach of the Year on two occasions.

Ron has coached numerous junior state and national champions across multiple events, as well as a bronze medallist at the Australian Open Championships and an Open NSW Champion.
