Another Successful Annual General Meeting followed by Awards Presentation

AUGUST 01, 2020

The Annual General Meeting of UTS Northern Suburbs Athletic Club was held at Rotary Athletics Field on Sunday 2 August 2020.  Ashley McMahon was successful in being re-elected as President.  We have some newcomers on the general committee with a wide range of athletics experience.

Click Here to see who has been elected on the 2020-2021 Committee.

Awards Presentation

The Awards Presentation was held after the AGM, with members receiving their awards and having their photo taken.  Stephanie Power, a talented sprinter, having had amazing 2019-20 season, achieving personal bests.  She is an inspiration to the club being here, there and everywhere. If we needed a sprinter for the 4 x 400m relay team she was happy to fill the team to ensure they got a run.  Following is Stephanie accepting the Club Person of the Year award.  She shares this award with our very own committee  member Amanda Johnstone, who works quietly behind the scenes attending to the succession of the club.  Congratulations to all who received an award.
