        MEMBERSHIP

Membership of UTS Northern Suburbs Athletic Club includes access to train at Rotary Athletic Field (including the well equipped weight room), specialist coaching and ability to compete at all Athletics NSW organised events.

The athletics year goes from 1 April to 31 March.  For insurance reasons your registration should be with the Registrar before you use the track for training.  In any event it should be with the Registrar at least a week before your first competition, because of the time needed for processing.  Cheques should be made payable to UTS Norths Athletic Club.

Alternately, contact the Club Registrar Ross Douglas to obtain a paper version of the Registration form

Print the form and sign in the appropriate place and send applicable fees by cheque to

Club policy on fares assistance

Athletes travelling to national and world cross country championships must have competed for UTS Norths in three ANSW cross country or road events that season.

Athletes travelling to national and international track and field championships must have competed for UTS Norths in at least four days of the following events:

  • Club Premiership days (maximum of 6 days)

  • NSW Club Championships

  • National Club Championships

  • State relays (two days with each day counting as separate days)

For example you would qualify if you compete in:

·        a Club Premiership at Mingara and ES Marks, the Saturday of the State relays and the NSW Club championship.  or

·        both days of the State relays, the NSW Club Championships and the Club Premiership at Narrabeen,

That is, any combination of events, as long as it adds up to four occasions.

The committee will consider the cases of athletes who do not meet the criteria because of injury or any other reason on an individual basis and may decide to offer fare assistance if the committee considers it is warranted.

Athletes travelling to Masters national or international competition do NOT qualify for fares assistance.
